At The Coastline
The Rooiels coast has everything! A beautiful beach, rugged rock formations, rock pools, a pristine estuary, a seal colony – even a reef below the waterline. It’s on us to make sure our wonderful coastline remains healthy and respected.
Some things to bear in mind.

- If you want to fish, crayfish, collect shellfish or any marine creatures or plants for personal use, you’ll need a permit from the Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment. It’s your responsibility to know and comply with size limits, bag limits and permitted catch dates.
